Staff is currently evaluating two new requests for assistance from the Business Enhancement Program.

The County Counsel is preparing a template resolution for each City to adopt that would identify the RDP-21 as the single voice in Ventura County for military issues. This is being required by the State in order to be eligible for State base retention funds. The next regular meeting of the RDP-21 is scheduled for February 12.

Affordable Housing

Two residents have identified opportunities to purchase mobilehomes in other parks and are currently in escrow for these purchases. Escrows also have been opened for Agency acquisition of the old mobilehomes belonging to these residents. Two other residents have made purchase offers on replacement mobilehomes in other mobilehome parks and are expected to open escrow soon. One resident has applied to Archstone Moorpark for residency and has been accepted.
